01 / What we automate

The work that
piles up.

01

Paperwork

Invoices, forms, contracts, and applications get read, sorted, and filed without anyone retyping them.

02

Data between apps

When something changes in one app, the others update. No more copying between spreadsheets, your CRM, and your accounting software.

03

Customer messages

Routine questions, booking requests, and new inquiries get a useful reply while the customer is still interested.

04

Follow-ups

Quotes, overdue invoices, renewals, and reminders go out on time without anyone keeping a list.

05

Reporting

Numbers from every tool end up in one place, ready when you need them instead of taking half a day to assemble.

06

Customer retention

Abandoned carts, order updates, feedback requests, and win-back emails run on their own and stop when they are no longer relevant.

02 / How it works

First, we learn
how work moves.

Your best people should spend their energy moving the business forward, not processing the same forms and messages all day. We map how work actually moves through your business, then remove the repetitive steps.

01

Understand

A focused conversation about your people, your process, and the work that keeps repeating.

02

Build

A first working version in about a week, using the tools you already trust. No new platform to learn.

03

Run

We watch it every month, fix what breaks, and adapt it as your business changes.

05 / Common questions

Business automation
questions.

What is business process automation?

Business process automation means using software to handle repetitive steps that people would otherwise do by hand, such as entering data, filing documents, sending reminders, and updating records. Autofieldwork builds these automations for small teams, so routine work gets done the same way every time and people can focus on customers and growth.

What business tasks can be automated?

Any task that repeats and follows clear rules is a good candidate. Common examples are data entry, invoice and form processing, moving information between apps, booking messages, customer follow-ups, payment reminders, and weekly reports. Tasks that need judgment can often be partly automated, with the details prepared for a person.

How do I stop entering the same data into multiple apps?

Connect the apps so a change in one updates the others automatically. When a form, order, or customer record changes, an automation copies the details to your CRM, accounting software, and spreadsheets. Autofieldwork sets this up using the tools you already have, so your team stops retyping information.

Can paperwork and document processing be automated?

Yes. Invoices, order forms, applications, and contracts can be read automatically, checked, and sorted, and their details sent to the right system. Clear documents can be handled without a person, and anything unusual can be flagged for review. Accuracy depends on document quality, so we test with your real examples first.

How much does business automation cost for a small business?

Autofieldwork starts at $3,500 for setup and $2,250 a month for one process, and at $7,500 for setup and $4,950 a month for connected operations. Final cost depends on the process, tools, and level of support. Software and usage fees are billed to you directly.

How long does it take to automate a business process?

A first working version usually takes about a week. We then test it with your real examples and adjust it with your team before it goes live. Larger projects with several connected tools take longer, and we agree on the timeline in writing before work starts.

Do I need to replace my current software to automate my business?

Usually not. Most automation works with the software you already use, by connecting your apps and handling the steps between them. We first learn how your team works, then improve the existing tools and process where that is practical. We recommend a change only when a tool is the real problem.

Which apps can be connected and automated?

Most modern business apps can be connected, including email, calendars, spreadsheets, CRMs, accounting software, booking systems, and online forms. If a tool has an API or supports data exports, it can usually be included. We confirm how each of your apps can connect during the free review, before you commit to anything.

What kinds of businesses does Autofieldwork work with?

Autofieldwork works with small and growing teams in the US that lose time to paperwork, messages, and manual data entry. That includes trades and home services, property managers, e-commerce brands, agencies, and professional offices. If a process repeats every week, it is usually worth a look.

Why does automation need a monthly plan?

Automations need an owner. Apps change, logins expire, staff leave, and volume grows, and any of these can quietly stop a process from working. A monthly plan covers monitoring, testing, fixes, and changes, so the automation keeps working as your business changes. You keep ownership of every account.

What happens if I cancel my automation plan?

Your accounts and automations stay yours, and they keep running in your tools. Plans have a three-month minimum, then you can cancel with 30 days' notice. We hand over notes on how everything works, so your team or another provider can take over.

Does business automation use AI?

Sometimes, when it is useful for the job. AI helps with reading documents and drafting replies, but many automations only need simple rules. For most businesses, the important question is whether the work becomes simpler, more reliable, and easier to manage.
